Lions (1-0) at Bills (1-0), 7:15 pm CT. Amazon Prime (Thursday Night)
The first ever game at the New Highmark Stadium will be a good one as the hometown Bills face Dan Campbell’s Detroit Lions. This matchup between the Lions and Bills feature two high powered offenses going against each other. In their respective opening games, both scored 31 and 36 points respectively so could expect the scoreboard to light up here.
Vikings (1-0) at Bears (1-0), 12 pm CT. FOX
Here’s another matchup that could be really good. An unstoppable force in Ben Johnson’s Chicago offense led by QB Caleb Williams faces an immovable object in Brian Flores’ Minnesota defense. Last season, both games between these two came down to the last possession as Minnesota claimed the first one in a 27-20 comeback win and the Bears claimed the finale 19-17 off a walkoff field goal from Cairo Santos.
Packers (0-1) at Jets (1-0), 12 pm CT. FOX
It might not be hyperbole to say this is already a must win for the Packers. A team that is on a six game losing streak dating back to early December last year, the Packers just surrendered its third straight loss to a Divisional opponent where they blew a 10+ point lead. The Jets this week are absolutely not a pushover as Aaron Glenn’s crew made an early statement with a 23-10 win over the Titans. While Green Bay is better on paper, the Packers O-line was an area of concern in the 39-22 loss against Minnesota and will face a Jets defense that also has talent now. The MetLife crowd will also be doing a whiteout theme. Don’t be shocked if the Jets pull off this upset.
Steelers (1-0) at Patriots (0-1), 12 pm CT. CBS
The Patriots started this year the way they ended 2025-26, a rough loss at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks. Now New England gets a different opponent in the Pittsburgh Steelers and Aaron Rodgers in his farewell tour. Rodgers began his final tour with a win over the Atlanta Falcons in week 1 and gets an opportunity at the defending AFC champions.
Jaguars (1-0) at Broncos (0-1), 3:05 pm CT. CBS
The Broncos since the AFC title game loss last year have not had a good ride. Starting 2026 off with a loss at Arrowhead Stadium in Monday Night, the Broncos will try to get good mojo back this weekend as they welcome in the defending AFC South champions.
Commanders (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1), 3:25 pm CT. FOX
NFC East and wildcard hopefuls will look to get on track after losing to the other two NFC East teams (Eagles and Giants). This is one both would want as the loser would be 0-2 where one or all of the other three would be 1-1 or 2-0.
